Von den drei Jungvögeln konnten wir nur zwei bestimmen. Der dritte, wohl gerade von einem Bad aus dem See kommend, gibt Rätsel auf. Merlin, die Erkennungssoftware, sagt Haussperling. Das könnte sein. Die Vogelwarte meint, es sei vor allem wegen des kräftigen Schnabels eher ein Fink, konnte aber auch nicht mit Bestimmtheit sagen, um welchen es sich handeln könnte.

We were only able to identify two of the three juvenile birds. The third, probably just coming from taking a bath in the lake, is a mystery. Merlin, the recognition software, says house sparrow. That could be it. The Swiss Ornithological Institute  thinks it's more likely to be a finch, mainly because of its strong beak, but couldn't say for sure which one it might be.
